Summer 2012
The arts have the power to uplift, inspire, and heal our minds and hearts. The Mission Arts Center is a place where people, especially children and youth, can explore their faith through creativity. In its first two years, the MAC has provided a safe place (a sanctuary) for over 150 students who discover their own spirituality through the disciplines and processes of creating art.
But our vision is even bigger: we serve the broader Colorado Springs community. This summer the MAC offers three opportunities to both chuch members and the community.

The Mission Arts Center in Colorado Springs, CO USA is a safe place where persons of all faiths, or of no particular faith, can explore their spirituality. Take a class. Join a group. Attend an exhibit or event. As a mission of First United Methodist Church, the MAC welcomes all who seek to more thoroughly understand their souls through the arts.
